The 157-acre training grounds in Oxford, Mississippi, include nine water sources, one seasonal stream, and a variety of fields and woodlands ideal for developing outstanding waterfowl and upland game retrievers. To meet our clients' expectations, we offer exposure to a variety of game, including ducks, quail, and pheasants, in the most realistic hunting environments possible. Complete training programs for adventure dog certification and service therapy companion registration are available onsite.

The Wildrose Training facility is located 70 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee, just outside the town of Oxford, Mississippi. Leaving Oxford on Hwy. 6 east toward the town of Pontotoc, Mississippi, you would travel 12 miles past the Hwy. 7 exit. Exit right on County Road 425 (12 miles east of Oxford). The facility is located 2.5 miles south on CR 425 on the right side of the roadway.

Kennels
The kennels are housed in three separate covered facilities. Each pen is constructed of 5x10 or 10x10 welded steel panels. The kennels are not enclosed to ensure that dogs remain weather-acclimated.

Wildrose Retail

All Wildrose licensed facilities operate a sporting accessories store offering the finest in training supplies and rugged, outdoor clothing. We are authorized dealers of Orvis, Tom Beckbe, Wren & Ivy and our own clothing and accessories line. All items are field-tested and approved by Wildrose staff. Visitors are welcome during business hours, and you can shop online at www.wildrosetradingcompany.com .

Wildrose Dallas, Texas

Wildrose Texas is full-service, comprehensive training, breeding and boarding facility located 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas. Wildrose Texas is hosted on the grounds of the historic Dallas Shooting and Fishing Club (cir. 1855), the oldest shooting club west of the Mississippi River.

Bordering the Trinity River, the facility has access to 780 acres of superb environment: cover crop, grass fields, timberlands, and vast water resources. The new state-of-the-art kennels for boarding and training dogs, along with its antique cabin storefront and office are nestled lakeside under beautiful huge oaks, a classic location indicative of the Wildrose experience.

Boarding services are extended to include any sporting breeds. Each dog will be exposed to an exercise regiment specifically designed to address three levels of conditioning: mental, physical strength, and agility.

Wildrose Carolinas

Located 15 minutes north of Hillsborough, NC, in the beautiful, historic farmlands of Caswell County is Wildrose Carolinas, a full-service Wildrose facility offering training, boarding, puppies, started retrievers and the occasional finished Gentleman's Gundog.

The 260-acre training grounds host a variety of environments and terrain perfect for the training of sporting dogs: upland, waterfowl, and adventure with 160 acres under development of Savannah pine, 12 water sources including one 10-acre lake, naturally flooded timberland providing superb waterfowl habitat plus over two miles of interconnecting roadways and trails.

The Wildrose Carolinas dedicated staff has been trained and certified by Wildrose utilizing our training methodology and animal health care protocols. Clients are assured of competent, professional services as they have come to expect from all Wildrose facilities.

While training programs are exclusive to Wildrose clients, workshops, activities and boarding services are extended to include all sporting dogs, open to the public. Dogs that are boarded are exposed to the Wildrose SEA System of exercise and conditioning: Strength, Endurance Agility and Mental Stimulus.

Wildrose Midwest

Wildrose Midwest offers a comprehensive range of in-house training, breeding, boarding, Gun Dog workshops, and Adventure Dog workshops. Conveniently located one hour north of Milwaukee, Wildrose Midwest has a wide variety of training grounds, including planted fields, technical training ponds, flooded timber and river. For our Milwaukee and Chicago clients, we offer local training opportunities to minimize drive time.

For added diversity and new environments, Wildrose Midwest has a corporate membership at River Wildlife, providing an additional 500+ acres of land for hunting, canoeing, shooting, and hiking.  The historic River Wildlife cabin offers our clients a great retreat for dining and relaxation tucked away deep in the woods.

Boarding services for sporting breeds are offered on an as-available basis for Wildrose clients. Each dog will be exposed to an exercise regimen specifically designed to address three levels of conditioning: mental, physical strength, and agility.

Seasonal Facilities

These locations are not year round. We use these locations for different types of training, such as river work. These locations also offer better weather conditions in certain times of the year.

Wildrose of the Ozarks

The Wildrose river training facility is located in the picturesque Ozark Mountains along the Little Buffalo River just outside the quaint town of Jasper. The facility is located in the most rugged part of the Ozark Mountains offering exceptional training opportunities for hunting dogs and adventurers. (www.theozarkmountains.com)

The grounds include a spacious lodge with an English garden at riverside and two metal buildings on 39 acres of rough, rugged river terrain. The Little Buffalo River teaming with fish meanders for 2/3 of a mile on the east border of the property. We are only a stone's throw away from the Buffalo River National Park. The area is home to elk, bear, turkey and deer.

Wildrose Colorado

Located at Clear Creek Ranch in Granite, Colorado, a 580-acre ranch formerly an Orvis-Endorsed fly-fishing destination, is host to one of our seasonal summer training programs for hunting dogs and adventure dog certification.

The ranch is located at 9,000 feet with Clear Creek meandering through the valley offering fast-moving, cold water mountain streams, willow marshes, ox-bow pools, all bordered by fabulous sagebrush country and dense forest. Bordering the ranch is direct access to Clear Creek Reservoir, public camping and The Colorado Trail. Fishing and rafting on the headwaters of the Arkansas River are just three miles away.
